Privacy Policy

Michlol Services Application Ltd. (“ServicesApp”, “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users (“users” or “you”). This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) has been created to inform you about how we manage, collect, store and use the information you provide in connection with our services, website and/or application (collectively, the “Services”). Please note that the scope of this Privacy Policy is limited only to information collected by us through your use of the Services.  

Our Privacy Policy explains:

•    What information we collect and why we collect it.
•    How we use that information.
•    The choices we offer, including how to access and update information.

By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use our Services or provide us with your personal information.


 We may amend the Privacy Policy from time to time, when necessary to reflect customer feedback and changes in our Services. When we post changes to this policy, we will revise the “last update” date at the bottom of each page of this Privacy Policy. If we make a change to this Privacy Policy that we believe materially reduces your rights, we will provide a notice prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to consult the Privacy Policy regularly for changes. By continuing to use the Services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy

 

Information Collected

 

Our primary objective in collecting user information is to provide and enhance the Services and to enable users to enjoy the Services.


We do not rent, sell, share, or trade your personal information with third parties other than as disclosed within this Privacy Policy.  


In order to register to our Services, you will be asked to sign-in using your relevant information, as primarily provided to us by the Organization (as defined under our Terms of Use) you are subject to. When you register to, or use, the Services or any portion thereof, we may collect and record the information you provide to us through the Services (collectively, the “Account Information”). While our application is in use, we keep track of your device’s geographic location so that we can indicate your particular geographic location in any facility management service call and/or other calls made available through the Services.  

 

Personal Information

 

“Personal information” means information about you that can be used to contact or identify you. The personal information types collected in accordance with the Services may vary depending on the activity and may, without limitation, include:  
(1)    Your name;
(2)    Your e-mail address;
(3)    Your telephone number;
(4)    Your facility management services calls and/or other calls and any information and/or content associated therewith and/or related thereto, including, without limitation, pictures and/or videos taken by you and/or texts made available by you through the Services;
(5)    Your employment position/title;
(6)    Your physical locations, including, without limitation, inside any facility; and
(7)    Your profile pictures.

You are not required by law to provide us with any of the above information; however, if you do not provide certain information, you may not be able to use the Services.

 


Non-Personal Information

“Non-personal information” is information that, when taken alone, cannot be used to identify or contact you. During your use of the Services we may collect non-personal information about your use of the Services. We may also invite you to share non-personal information about yourself.


If non-personal information is collected for an activity that also requires personal information, we may combine your non-personal information with your personal information in an attempt to provide you with a better user experience, to improve the value and quality of the Services and to analyze how the Services are used.

In addition to information collected as described above, you may choose to share additional information about yourself through the Services. Any additional pictures, image, pictures, texts and/or information you provide may be publicly displayed.  


Please note that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information on publicly-viewable screens or pages, that information will be publicly available and can be collected and used by others. We cannot control who reads your posting or what other users may do with the information you voluntarily post, so we encourage you to exercise discretion and caution with respect to your personal information.


Other information we may collect includes information about your computer, software, platform, incident data, Internet Protocol (IP) address, network Media Access Control (MAC) address and connection, browser type, browser language, referring pages, exit pages and URLs, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, and the date and time of this activity so that we can better understand customer behavior and improve our products, services, and advertising. We may also receive either non-personal or public information from third parties in connection with market and demographic studies and/or data that we may use to supplement personal information provided directly by you.

 

 
Use of Your Information

 

Your consent serves as the legal basis for processing your information. We may use or process your personal information for the following purposes. One or more purposes may apply simultaneously. The information you provide will be used for the purpose of providing you with and improving the Services and for any other purpose stated herein; however, such information will not be disclosed, rented, loaned, leased, sold, or otherwise voluntarily distributed to unaffiliated third parties, except as set forth herein. We may, inter alia, use your personal information to:

•    Help make the Services easier for you to use by not having to enter information more than once.
•    Help you quickly find information and services.
•    Help us create and/or display content that is most relevant to you.
•    Alert you to new information, products and/or services.
•    To conduct surveys and questionnaires.
•    To use anonymized aggregated data that do not disclose any particular user’s personal information for various analytics purposes.
•    To handle breakdowns and malfunctions;
•    To prevent fraud, misappropriation, infringements, identity theft and other illegal activities and misuse of the Services;
•    For purposes provided under this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
•    If we intend to further use or process your personal information for a purpose other than set forth in this policy, we will provide you prior to that further use or processing with information on that other purpose.

The personal information you provide will allow us to send you messages regarding, among other things, new products or services, features, enhancements, special offers, upgrade opportunities, contests and events of interest. You may at any time opt-out of any of these communications.  


We may also use personal and non-personal information, both individually and combined together, to better understand the behavior and preferences of our customers and users, to troubleshoot technical problems, to enforce our Terms of Use to ensure proper functioning of our services as well as to help improve Services and their content.  

WE WILL RETAIN AND USE YOUR INFORMATION FOR AS LONG AS YOUR SERVICESAPP ACCOUNT IS ACTIVE OR AS NEEDED TO PROVIDE YOU THE SERVICES. IF YOU WISH TO CANCEL YOUR SERVICESAPP ACCOUNT OR REQUEST THAT WE NO LONGER USE YOUR INFORMATION AS SET FORTH HEREIN, YOU MAY DO SO AT ANY TIME BY CONTACTING US AT THE E-MAIL ADDRESS PROVIDED IN THE “YOUR RIGHTS AND DATA RETENTION” SECTION BELOW. NOTE THAT THERE MAY BE INSTANCES WHERE WE ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION.

 


Third Party Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate the Services or any portion thereof, to provide the Services or any portion thereof on its behalf, to perform tasks (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the Services), to assist us in analyzing how the Services are used and for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.  


In such cases, these third parties must abide by our data privacy and security requirements and are not allowed to use personal information they receive from us for any other purpose. We may also disclose personal information as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets. When we transfer personal information, we use a variety of legal mechanisms, including contracts, to help ensure your rights and protections travel with your data. We will transfer personal information within assuring appropriate and suitable safeguards.


From time to time, we employ third party contractors to collect personal information on our behalf to provide e-mail delivery, product, prize or promotional fulfillment, contest administration or other services through the Services. When requesting these services, you may be asked to supply your name, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address to its contractors. We may ask some third party contractors, such as, data analytics or market research firms, to supplement personal information that you provide to us for our own marketing and demographic studies, so that we can consistently improve our sites and related advertising to better meet our visitors’ needs and preferences. To enrich our understanding of individual customers, we may tie this information to the information you provide us.

 


Browser Use

Note that in the ordinary course of Internet activity, certain information may be sent from your browser to third parties such as advertising networks and analytics companies. We have no control over the information sent from your browser to those networks or other third parties and recommend that you ensure that your browser settings prevent the disclosure of information you would not like to share.

You understand and agree that we may be required to disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to avoid liability, to comply with legal process, including, but not limited to a subpoena, statute, search warrant, or court order, or to protect our, or a third party’s, property and rights, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable.

 
We may also disclose information about you if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce the terms and conditions of the Services or to protect our operations or users. Additionally, we may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of our assets, including your personal information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.  

 


Cookies

Like many websites, we may use cookies and web beacons (also known as clear GIF technology or “action tags”) to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that is transferred to your computer’s hard disk or your mobile device for record-keeping purposes. Cookies may be sent to a user’s computer or a mobile device when such user accesses or views a Service. Information contained in a cookie may be linked to personal information for purposes such as improving the quality of our Services, tailoring recommendations to interests, and making the Services easier to use. Third party advertisers on the Services may also place or read cookies on your computer or mobile device. Cookies can be disabled at any time by changing your web browser’s options to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. Note that if you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions or functionalities of the Services. The Services may contain links to other websites or applications. The fact that the Services link to a website or application or presents a banner ad or other type of advertisement does not mean that we endorse or authorize that third party, nor is it a representation of any affiliation with that third party. If you click on a link to a third party website or application, including on an advertisement, you will leave our website which you are visiting or application you are running and will go to the website or application linked to. These third party websites and applications may place their own cookies or other files on your computer or mobile device, and may collect data or solicit personal information from you. Other sites and applications follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. Because we cannot control the activities of third parties, we cannot accept responsibility for any use of your personal information by such third parties, and we cannot guarantee that they will adhere to the same privacy and security practices as us. You are therefore encouraged to read the privacy policies or statements of other websites and applications you visit before providing any personal information.



Your Rights and Data Retention

If you would like us to delete, update, access, review or correct your records in our system, please contact us at support@servicesapp.com and we will accommodate your request, except to the extent legally obligated to retain certain records and/or as limited by an Organization you are an Organizational User thereof (as such terms are defined in the Terms of Use).
We do not retain location information longer than required to provide the Services or for other essential purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Because these needs can vary for different data types in the context of different products, actual retention periods can vary significantly. The criteria used to determine the retention periods include:

•    How long is the personal information needed to provide the Services and operate our business?This is the general rule that establishes the baseline for most data retention periods.
•    Do customers provide, create, or maintain the data with the expectation we will retain it until they affirmatively remove it? In such cases, we maintain the data until you actively delete it.
•    Is the personal information of a special category under the GDPR (as defined below)? If so, a shortened retention time would generally be appropriate.
•    Has ServicesApp adopted and announced a specific retention period for a certain data type?
•    Has the user provided consent for a longer retention period? If so, we will retain data in accordance with your consent.
•    Is ServicesApp subject to a legal, contractual, or similar obligation to retain the data? Examples can include mandatory data retention laws in the applicable jurisdiction, government orders to preserve data relevant to an investigation, or data that must be retained for the purposes of litigation.

You can request the deletion of the personal information ServicesApp has collected or withdraw your consent to the processing of such information, and disable its future collection by contacting us at support@servicesapp.com. From that point, we shall not have the right to process your personal information, and you’ll not be allowed to use our Services. Note, however, that you may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of data processing we carried out based on your consent before such withdrawal.

The authority supervising our processing activity is the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority, and you have the right to file a complaint to it or any other relevant supervisory authority.

 


Security

 

We have made reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure, in particular where the processing involves the transmission of data over a network, and against all other unlawful forms of processing. When we transmit highly confidential data over the Internet, we protect it through the use of encryption. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to overcome those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
personal information collected by ServiceApp may be stored and processed in Israel and in other countries which are chosen in order to operate efficiently, to improve performance, and to create redundancies in order to protect the data in the event of an outage or other problem. We may also process, host and backup information using cloud Services. The laws in those other countries may provide a lesser degree of data protection than the laws of your own country, and we take steps to ensure that the data we collect under this Privacy Policy is processed according to the provisions of this Privacy Policy and the requirements of applicable law (such as the GDPR, as defined below) wherever the data is located.

Privacy of Children


The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personal information online from visitors in this age group. All users must be (a) at least of legal age to form a binding contract with us or under the strict and continuous supervision of a parent or any other qualified legal guardian, and (b) not barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the country in which they are resident or from which they use the Services.  
While we are very passionate about our Service and feel it can truly benefit our users, we believe it is not appropriate for children. In order to assist us with ensuring children do not enter or use our Service, please let us know of any activity you have encountered, or reasonably suspect, by children under the age of 13.
